What would the DOORS be without keyboards? In Ray Manzarek's footsteps, Thomas Vogt appears with the original analog sound of a Gibson G-101, (1968), Vox Continental (1967) and a Fender Rhodes Piano Bass (1972). Vogt's burlesque style gives the entire ouvré a fresh shine, as if DOORS had just arrived from LA ... In addition, Tom had the (unique) opportunity to meet Ray Manzarek & Robby Krieger personally! More about that:

Benjamin supports the singer with his playing, just like John Densmore once did, with the concise interjections which then also ensure the drama that characterizes the DOORS ...

With frontman Erik Klingenberg, the ex-New York Blueschoriphäe, the Morrison hotel formation has found its most authentic Jim Morrison voice to celebrate legendary hits like “Light my fire” and “Break on through” of those 60's. .. More about this:

Gunter on the electric bass forms the musical foundation over which Tom & Jörg lay the carpet for Erik's singing and improvisations.

It is also possible with Gunter to bring the Doors sound of the first studio record live on stage, as the Doors played an electric bass in addition to the Fender Rhodes Bass for these recordings ... Live but never what the Morrison Hotel- Makes formation even more unique!

At the time, R obbie Krieger used a wide variety of styles such as flamenco, bottlenek & picking in the songs, all of which Jörg masters and even lets the solos sound true to the original ... The music of the Doors has accompanied Jörg for most of his life and has not lost a bit of fascination . The unique sound and the stylistic variety are endless fun on stage. There is also plenty of freedom for improvisation, which means that no two appearances are the same ...

With “Morrison Hotel” you experience a musical flashback right into the wild flower power world of the late sixties. Classics such as “Light My Fire”, “Break On Through”, “Riders On The Storm”, “LA Woman”, “Roadhouse Blues”, “When The Music's Over” or “The End” are implemented effectively. But also lesser known DOORS songs like “Universal Mind”, “Ship Of Fools”, “My Eyes Have Seen You” are part of the repertoire.

“The Morrison Hotel” doesn't just play the DOORS live, they perform the DOORS. Last but not least, the impressive performance as well as the vocal color of the ex New York Blueschoriphäe & front man Erik Klingenberg contribute to this. His voice contains almost all facets that have made Jim Morrison's voice unique. Sometimes clear and beguilingly hypnotic like the young Jim, who was able to hide everything in the room with this voice, then again robust, rough and serene like the late, bluesy Mr. Morrison.

But what would the DOORS be without keyboards? Thomas Vogt follows in Ray Manzarek's footsteps with the original analog sound of a Gibson G-101, Vox Continental and a Fender Rhodes piano bass. Vogt's style gives the entire ouvré a fresh shine, as if the DOORS had just arrived from LA ...

Countless concert-goers have already been led with a lot of pathos on a mystical journey through time into the rebellious world of the DOORS in order to keep the musical memory of one of the most legendary American rock bands alive, and even after a 3-hour set they can still do an encore ask :-)
